EYE JEWELRY UMAKI has been dealing in a wide range of jewelry for over 35 years.
Our experienced and specialized veteran buyers inspect each and every piece of jewelry with their own eyes, and only products that meet Umaki’s strict standards are purchased and displayed in our store (online store).
Attention to stone
We are particular about the quality of stones, and will not purchase melee diamonds (diamonds under 0.2 carats) or colored stones if they do not meet our standards.
The In-House Advantage
We have an in-house atelier where highly skilled craftsmen are on-site. Umaki’s original jewelry is created by first-class craftsmen who turn customer requests for jewelry into reality.
Our founder, Toyofumi Umaki, is committed to providing jewelry of the same or even higher quality as world-class luxury brands at reasonable prices, with the desire to “let more people know and spread the joy of wearing high-quality gemstones and jewelry.”
About EYE JEWELRY UMAKI
Founder Toyofumi Umaki, a former watch repairman, went independent and opened a jewelry and eyewear store in Kurashiki, Okayama Prefecture in 1991.
Four years later, he completed his own in-house workshop, a rare feat at the time, and specialized in jewelry production and maintenance.
In 1999, he began officially handling watches from world-famous brand names. He has since begun doing business with many other brands.
In 2008, he opened the Okayama store in central Okayama City.
From his founding to the present, he has cherished encounters with customers and valued hospitality, and Umaki has become widely known as the go-to brand for brand watches, jewelry, and bridal rings, not only among customers in Okayama Prefecture but also in neighboring prefectures.
